Say It In BloomFor sorry

A flower to say sorry.

An apology in your own voice is harder to send and easier to believe. The flower opens quietly, the air kept clear, and they can reply in their own voice if they want to.

Its flowers

The occasion’s own come first at the desk; any of the eighteen can be sent, alone or as a posy of up to seven. Each grows from the words of its letter, so no two are alike.

Its paper

Printed on ivory as a hand-coloured engraving, the whole plate comes to life as it opens, the air kept clear. Or choose Prussian blue: a cyanotype, where only the flower returns to colour.

Its music

Pieces written for the book. As the flower opens, the music pauses and a soft piano plays their name, a note for each letter.

Its day

Send it now, or choose the day and the hour it opens, in their time zone. It reaches them by email, or as a link and QR code you send yourself. Until it reaches them you can change its day, or cancel it and have your money back.

Writing it

Say what you did, say you’re sorry, and leave it there. Don’t explain it away.
